Our Farm Story

Brad grew up watching his parents pour their hearts into a modest 200‑head farrow‑to‑finish sow operation tucked into the rolling countryside of rural Jackson, Minnesota. On that farm, long days and quiet determination weren’t just part of life—they were life. It was there, amid the rhythm of chores and seasons, that the seeds of a much larger dream quietly took root.
In 1994, after finishing college, Brad and Meg came back home with fresh ideas and a shared vision that stretched far beyond the original barn doors. They weren’t just returning to the family farm—they were returning to build something bigger. Something bold. Something new.
What followed was decade of grit, strategy, and fearless forward motion. Together, they began acquiring hog facilities and feed mills across the Midwest, each expansion a step toward transforming their vision into reality. Minnesota soon connected to Iowa, then to South Dakota, Wyoming, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin—states tied together not only by geography, but by the growing heartbeat of their operation.
Little by little, deal by deal, and year by year, the family farm evolved into New Fashion Pork—a thriving, respected leader in U.S. hog production. Through hard work, perseverance, and a willingness to dream beyond what was in front of them, Brad, Meg, and their family turned a humble beginning into a remarkable story of growth, legacy, and possibility.
